Back after it

Well after the photo shoot, some time away due to work matters, and a Dollhouse bookcase that had to be completed for my little girl, a little more action can resume on the old truck.  Tonight I started to disassemble the heater unit to clean, sand, and repaint, along with ensuring that all the components still work.

So far, besides 61 years of Kansas farm dust, the heater is still together fine.  No apparent leaks from the heater coil, and the fan and motor still work.  So it looks like a little cleaning, some compressed air to remove most of the hidden dirt, and a few squirts of paint, and the heater will be back in business.

Other than that, just making plans as to exactly how I want to attack the big chunk of work that is before me....the bodywork on the cab, inside and out.  More to come.
